El trabajo doméstico remunerado a domicilio en Alamar: ¿una opción tras la jubilación? Paid domestic work in Alamar: an option after retirement?

Resumen

Esta investigación se planteó analizar la relación
existente entre la división sexual del trabajo
y las características de las relaciones sociales en
el trabajo a través del estudio de un grupo de 20
jubiladas que se desempeñan como trabajadoras
domésticas remuneradas informales en la Circunscripción
No.72 del Consejo Popular Alamar Este y
de sus empleadores/as. Los resultados que se exponen
permiten un acercamiento a las complejidades
del tema en Cuba, a partir de su análisis desde
la perspectiva sociológica y de género.

This investigation analyzes the existent relationship
between the Sexual Division of Work and the
characteristics of the Social Relationships at Work
through the study of a group of 20 pensioners that
act as informal remunerated domestic workers in the
District No.72 of the Popular Council Alamar, and
its employers. The results allow an approach to the
complexities of that kind of activities in Cuba, starting
from their analysis from both a sociological and
gender perspective.
